When

Although we can’t guarantee a particular day or date each week or month for your on-going maintenance cleans we will always aim to remain as consistent as we can. If your first clean happened to be on the Friday 12 th but the following month the 12th landed on the Sunday then we would likely clean on the Friday or the Monday. But we will always advise when we are cleaning with a text message the day before.

In terms of the actual time of day we clean. It’s impossible to give you an actual specific time because so many factors are out of our control. We will give you an approximate period of the day when we send our text message notification the day before clean. If it’s an appointment you have, for something like cleaning the insides of your windows, then we will arrange a specific time.

Weather

Rain

Rain, unless extreme, doesn’t stop us working.

It also makes no difference to the effectiveness of our cleaning and you will still be left with as good a finish as if it were not raining. Rainwater is almost as pure as the pure water we are actually cleaning with. Rain does not make the windows dirty, dirt does! Dust and dirt accumulates on the glass from pollen, car exhaust and many other sources. Dust and dirt settles on the glass to create a fine layer covering the glass. When it rains, drops of water make contact with the dirty glass. The dust and dirt is moved around to form dirty marks when the water dries. The dirt is now highly visible because it is no longer uniformly spread, but is now sporadic on the glass.

Extreme weather such as heavy snow, gale force winds or lightning Occurrences such as lightning are fairly infrequent and don’t last too long but we’ll be ducking for cover if it does start and not waving our water fed poles in the air! Weather such as snow may well stop us though. Possibly because the roads are inaccessible or even dangerous. But even if we can get to our customer’s conditions may not be ideal for us to clean. This being the case we will contact customers to communicate this and give a prediction, based on weather reports, when we can come next. In the meantime I’ll be playing in the snow with the kids!
